This app stores your location to show nearby users but does not share your location directly with anyone. Instead, it shows how far you are from someone. Keep in mind that if you turn off location, you will not be shown to any person nearby, but your location coordinates are still stored in the database irrespective of if you wish to share location with other users or not.
The app does use third-party services that may collect information used to identify you.
